Frosty Greens

It was a few degrees below freezing when we teed off from the first at 8.30 this morning and we were the only (fool)hardy souls on the course!

As you can see from the blip of the 4th and 5th greens the ground was very frosty and hard, leading to some spectacularly unreliable bounces with balls hitting the front of a green and taking one bounce over the back of them. Despite that, I managed to hit the ball more consistently well than of late and managed a reasonable score.

Kate heard today that she has got the flat we went to look at on Tuesday, so she is very excited.

We're away for a long weekend in Devon tomorrow and may be out of Internet contact so I'll wish you all a good weekend, just in case!
