Silence

Amazing how the snow quietens the world. A few birds, dogs, snowploughs grinding down the high pass road.

I could have gotten out but it would have been touch and go. Had a nice walk, stoked the fire, watched more snow fall. Ate a hearty meal and just enjoyed it.

Poor old Boss at work waiting to introduce a seminar for a prof coming from London. Her flight diverted to Bologna due to fog so no seminar.

A couple of extras- looking up the valley and the track to the house.

My much discounted Columbia boots from the Outlet centre at Barberino worked very well in the snow.
