Indian Pond Heron

Since the first time I noticed the Heron I've seen him a few times and he's not nervous or skittish he just sits there appearing quite unconcerned. He's about half the size of the Herons I usually see and the plumage is a pinkish fawn.  It's lovely to keep seeing him and I'm spending a lot of time going back and forth to the waterfall just on the off chance he'll be there.

It's been another perfect day and only two more to go before we'll be on our way home  -   thank you as ever for the response to yesterday's blip.
