Robin on the feeder

The garden looks magical today with hoar frost covering all the vegetation (extra - the rowan tree with frost). The feeder has been busy all morning with sparrows, bluetits, goldfinches, chaffinches, starlings. And this lovely little robin.

Phoned the jurors' helpline last night to be told that I'm not required. This meant I was able to keep my early appointment with the dentist. Every cloud. Because of a two dog rumpus in the garden at 04:00 I was awake very early. So I walked the dogs before it was even light. Later Flora went to play with Lottie, Otter had some much needed time at home on his own and I went to the dentist. Came away with a good report too.

It's really, really cold. There's no sun so I don't think the frost will melt. I wouldn't be surprised if there's more snow. The sky looks as if it's full of the white stuff. I think I'll give yoga a miss tonight.
