Bird Watching.

Whilst Mia was asleep today, Isabella and I sat out in the garden.

Isabella was fascinated by a family of 4 black and white birds, sitting on the fence.  There were 2 parents and 2 babies.

I couldn't remember the names of the birds, so I suggested we get a book and look them up.

She sat for ages looking at the book, and then looking at the birds trying to find the picture that matched them.

We eventually found out that they were Magpie Larks.

We then went on to look at a book about frogs, as she'd found a dead frog on our walk.

And then a book on Mammals.  We were having a good time looking at all the animals.  Then Mia woke up, and it was time for lunch.

Another hot day, but it feels like it's cooling down a bit.
