St Paul's

The cathedral seemed to glow today.

I saw two very good photographic exhibitions today. Both recommended if any blip mates are down this way.

One at Tate Modern, on the other side of this bridge from St P's, was the Klein - Moriyama. David Klein worked in different media and had an interesting approach to street photography. Rather than take candid shots with a long lens, he almost immersed himself in the crowd and used a wide-angle lens to capture the reactions of people to him, the photographer.

I hadn't heard of Daido Moriyama before this exhibition. Interesting light and shadow shots, and some others almost avant-garde.

From there I crossed the river to Somerset House to the Cartier-Bresson: A Question of Colour, a provocative exhibition which challenges his disparaging attitude to colour photography.

PS. The kid on the bridge is nothing to do with me. He just walked into shot.
PPS. I can't be sure that that isn't the same pigeon as earlier this week
