Step-mom, Wili and Nicke

Evening with my step-mother. She made us a dinner, ribs-potatoe-carrot - stew. An old karelian recipe from her childhood. The Stew is baked in oven for three hours. Speices only black pepper, onions and salt.

It seems that she keeps being a bit lonely, even though she has poodles Wili and Nicke and some hobbies too. Maybe the cloudy Tampere area is not the best for her, being from the sunny west coast (in the coastal area there really is plenty more sunny days, and climate is milder).

(These heart winter cold cloudy days are not necessarily cheering anyone up... . I could Hibernate over winter. Thank God there is Blipping!!!)

Her relatives live all in west coast, but she wants to stay here because of my dad, who actually lives in dementia ward...

Hard to get old.

We had a nice time, chatting and dining. I think that I have to ask her to come over next weekend.

-9c, nice weather. Cloudy though, but not too much more snow... This is a proper winter! Me like. Similar to what I remember from my childhood!
