Winter (Day 1365)

It was still a bit snowy as I made my way to the bathroom re-fit in Dounby.
The plan for the morning was just to get on with a bit of finishing up and I didn't expect that it would take particularly long. As has become the norm on this job, gremlins appeared and it all took a bit longer than I expected. When I finally finished up I decided to head to town to collect a couple of things, which perhaps wasn't the most sensible of ideas as the road disappeared beneath the snow as I drove along.
Back home I had lunch whilst waiting for my beautiful wife to come home from her various morning errands and activities then we took the woofers off to Lyde for a wander. It seems like a long time since I have managed to spend any time outside and it was good to be out wandering along in the snow on a windless afternoon. The dogs seemed to enjoy themselves.
The view across to Hoy featured another dramatic sky.
