"Look at me ....."

Not fireworks, no, but the lip or lower petal of an orchid. I love orchids, and sometimes the centres have fascinating shapes, like this ghost-like figure or the Jack-in-the-box above. Not surprising really, considering this is part of the reproductive system of the plant, throwing up its arms and shouting "Look at me ....."
