Illuminating

Gorgeous sunny crisp day today....and the lightest dusting of snow first thing but nothing like the amount other places seem to be getting....
It's getting lighter in the morning as well as staying light for longer at the end of the day....all feels like things are looking up
Three meetings today that also gave me a glimmer of hope about direction of travel - one with a group of struggling managers and two with (different) student groups that both gave me hope that, if we could sort some stuff in the middle, we'd be able to make major improvements....we'll see
Home to tackle prep for an extremely tricky meeting tomorrow morning and do feedback on papers C's been drafting and is worried about. I think I might be up late....hope a (slightly) sore throat doesn't get worse!
Had a very productive evening (and a restorative hot toddy!)
