Amaryllis

“Is this the way to Amar...”. No, no, no, stop it.

Mother in law care day today, so a trek to Darlington it was. Lunch and shopping as usual.

She has a fabulous amaryllis plant in her front window, with a huge head of flowers. Photographed with my phone, increasing exposure to get more detail in the flower. Background totally overexposed. In Photoshop, isolated the flowers and popped on a black background. First time I have tried something like this. Looks a bit odd as the light is coming through the flowers as well.

Home in time to give Finlay a second walk, completing (just) in the twilight.
