The Lantern Festival

The plan was - family with kids come over, dinner ready by 6.00, eat and get togged up to join the lantern parade that goes past our house.

What actually happened was, family arrived, had a lovely dinner, got togged up to wait for the parade, stood out side with hot drinks and waited.

20 minutes go by, then another 15 and then we notice people walking in the opposite direction to where the parade started hmmm.

We decided to go for a walk down to the square and have a look whats going on, by the time we'd go there the whole thing had finished!!! Turns out the parade goes a different route every year! well der that makes sense, why didn't i think of that?

Instead we checked out the new roller disco !
