Distant snow

I’m feeling more encouraged about me ankle today. It is some weeks since I first ventured up to the moor the steep way, and I needed Mr C’s assistance in places. But today I managed fine with the walking pole, though he did accompany me “just in case”.

It was gorgeous and sunny and we were rewarded with this view over to Cheviot and Hedgehope.

After a lot of phone calls to Apple we seem to have my Mac in a place where it is less reluctant to misbehave. But it is still slow, and crashes, so trying to finish my Blurb Year book has been a frustrating struggle. Blurb says it *always* saves but it doesn’t as I have to keep re-entering after the crash and even Manuel save isn’t working. I only use the Mac for photos and books, and it’s quite important to me, so I really need to get it functioning properly before our next trip.

And why is it that the more travelling we do, the more places we think would be interesting to visit? Central America, Madagascar, Indonesia? Just add them to the ever-lengthening list.
