The Long Goodbye
Our week in Aberdeen is over and we headed home early this evening.
This time it was very difficult saying goodbye. All the clan were together as #2 son and daughter-in-law travelled up to meet Ruaridh, having stopped off overnight at Arbroath. (This made me snigger as Francie and Josie immediately came to mind - watch from 1.09.08, you'll not be sorry)
We had a good day. Ruaridh was awake for a lot of the time enjoying his aunt and uncle's gift of a musical playmat with jungle animals and coloured lights.
The clan is growing. First there was 0ne, then two, followed in quick succesion to three, four, and five. We stayed as five for many years till we became six then seven. Now we are nine and we couldn't be happier.
Tonight I am setting up skype to suffice until Christmas comes.
