The Patient

This afternoon the vet (she looked about twelve) came to attend to a lame sheep.  She found a piece of barley grass has worked its way into one of the ewe's front feet and caused a painful infection.  Two injections were administered and all four feet sprayed with an antibiotic solution. By evening the ewe was much happier.
