Sound of Handa

A wild night with gale force winds which knocked out the electricity which wasn't connected till 1.30 pm this afternoon. We went over to William's for a coffee as he has a gas stove as it takes ages for the kettle to boil on the Morso but eventually it did along with a pan of soup which we had for lunch. Didn't do much, a bit of hoovering and caught my knitting in the hoover and took ages to unravel it out. Continued making my cards cutting the inserts to put in them, but the cutter jammed so I had to dismantle it to free the blade up but it is working okay now.
Windy and wet all day.
