Wilmcote Locks

I decided to go out on my bike today and look for some photo opportunities. It was a bit impractical to take my normal lightweight road bike so I blew the dust off my Dawes Galaxy tourer and put the camera gear in a pannier. I last used this bike when I did John O'Groats to Lands End 2 years ago.

The experiment worked well as I was able to cycle the Stratford canal towpath and get this picture when the sun made a brief appearance. However the 5 mile ride home from here was into a strong wind and heavy rain.

I shall use this bike again to go and find Blipworthy locations as it's greener than driving.
