THE BIRTHDAY GIRL

We’ve had a hectic sort of day, went to a funeral at lunchtime and spent the afternoon feeding the mourners, all seventy five or so of them, my feet now ache from standing around all day. Once finished I still needed to go out to wish Marie a happy birthday, she has recently move out and to a very nice nursing home, the smile on her face tells how pleased she was with our visit.
