The plan was to meet up with a friend today, but she cried off ill, leaving us with an unexpected free day. As the forecast wasn't brilliant, I thought I'd take the opportunity to familiarise myself with my new DSLR, and make a start on reading the manual. Around midday, the snow arrived, if someone wet.
