The Fourth Plinth
A wonderful day out in London. Visited the Fourth Plinth in Trafalgar Square which is now occupied by 'Powerless Structures' which the artists describe as a stark contrast to the military monuments and which honours everyday battles rather than anything historically significant. One of my first 'blips' was 'Nelson's ship in a Bottle' which is now housed in Greenwich, (my favourite of the various structures, models are currently being shown at the ICA).
We also went to Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park. On the way, whilst walking past the Palace, we were lucky enough to see the Queen being driven out just feet away from us. Walked miles round all the stalls taking loads of photos which I would also like to have put on 'blip' and then onto the christmas lights in Oxford/Regent Street, again taking lots of possible 'blips'.
