Week 4: Opteka 6.5mm f/3.5 Circular Fisheye

Ah, back to the weird and wonderful :-)

This weeks lens is another interesting oddity - being a circular fisheye lens. At 6.5mm it's a wide angle lens without question, and, as you can see from the image of it - it has a wonderfully bulbous front element.

On the full-frame Nikon, it actually creates a circular image - on the APS-C Fuji, even with the focal reducer, it's heavily vignetted, but still, more or less, rectangular ...

The distortion is great though !

I'm starting to think about next month and Skeena's CMC ( colour month challenge ... ) - getting nervous now !
