Blue mountains

This morning we hit the road, towards the blue mountains! Some good times and music on the car journey, stopping off for a cheeky breakfast at a pie shop. I went for the breakfast pie which was actually not great, but the milkshake was banging.

We hiked Wentworth falls, I was not expecting the scenery to be so spectacular, it was a hot hike (~32°C) so we definitely took the opportunity to swim at the base of the 100m falls. Such a refreshing and free experience, perfect temperature for it!

But then it was a steep ascent up the steps carved in the cliffs and a few km hiking the undercliff and overcliff trails. Such a great experience.

Daniel drove us over to Katoomba and Seth and I checked into our cute little hostel while Daniel drove back to the big smoke.

Good times cooking and talking about life and adventures, now off to bed before climbing tomorrow!
