More water babies
Such a sweltering 31 degrees celsius here today and we took the boat down to the outlet beach just below Mt Tarawera at 11am. We had a wonderfully cool swim and a picnic lunch before a return journey after 1 o'clock. As we slowly made our way around our bay there were many aquatic birds to see as always and amongst them dabchicks with their babies, our black swans and here amongst the bulrushes and escapee waterlilies, a nesting Australian coot.
