Blipping Forty

Sunrise at St Mary's Lighthouse

I had booked on a trip to the Farne Islands today to photograph the Seal pups. However it was cancelled a couple of days ago due to the high winds forecast. Instead I planned to have a wee blip outing to photograph the third of my three subjects for the Christmas fun night at the camera club. I had a photograph of a model lighthouse but thought I ought to make an effort to shoot the real thing, particularly as I'm not too far from the coast.

Blustery is an understatement and I was frozen to the bone by the time I got back to the car. However all good fun! This was taken from Hartley Bay although on reflection it would've been better to have been closer down on the rocks. Next time!!!
