Snaw at Lingarth

Another cold day, and snow showers throughout the day.  There was some sunshine too.  More heavy snow tonight, but lovely and calm.

I was working in the museum this morning, and a steady stream of visitors.  I was sent down to help out at Sumburgh lighthouse in the afternoon, and we had two buses of visitors for tours and teas.  The usual Monday mad dash after tea, and headed for my shift in the pub.  Finished early, and out walkies with Sammy in the snow.  It was so peaceful, but lovely and warm returning home to the fire.

There was a good amount of snow in Scalloway and Lerwick, but the further south I went, the less it got, until next to none at Sumburgh Head.  I took my lunch break as I headed south, and enjoyed a couple of short brisk walks.  I enjoyed my walk around the croft here, so peaceful with the old tractors, boats and lovely old house, Lingarth, Dunrossness.
