Action Shot

An early start this morning and a busy day out at Gogarburn but what a stunning day it turned into.

It was into Penicuik this evening for my running group - it was hard to make myself go, especially as it was snowing at home, but as usual, it was fine when I got there & got started. This is a very fuzzy action shot of the amoeba tag game.

On my way home an owl flew straight out in front of me and was flying (in the same direction as me) level with my head, had to brake hard otherwise I’d have hit it - it only just got enough height to clear the car. What a heart-thumping moment - not something you see every day.
