Visiting a friend.

Once again the time has run away with me! 
It's now 19.50 and another busy day. My mum had a saying for these........"keeps you out of mischief......" 
    A beautiful clear sparkling frosty cold morning for my walk to the local Post Office to send off a parcel to Bristol, ( a piece of baby equipment which we had forgotten to take down last Saturday!) New baby girl will arrive mid March so things are being prepared well in advance.  
Especially with 3 lively ones on the go and a loft conversion happening at the same time! 
Expanding house for expanding family.
    At least they have friends who share their baby stuff with each other when they no longer have need of it . Less expense then. This particular item came from their best friends who live quite near us. 
  I digress and "Only Connect"  will be on TV soon! (not that I can ever get any answers!) This is followed by University Challenge!! 
   I enjoyed the fresh air, posted the parcel, went for a longer walk, and then we did some shopping.
     This afternoon we went to see a good friend who has had an operation on her foot. 
The photo is me with her lively dog Bubbles. Her daughter is with her this week and then will take Bubbles back with her when she goes home. 
There will be a heavy frost tonight. 
One of the photos in extras is a solar powered garden lamp. 
It has been charged up well today, and for longer, as the sun is higher in the sky now during the day. 
I loved listening to the starlings with their jumbled songs  made up of warbles, whistles and chatter, and excellent mimics.
