A trio of owls in the sunshine!

I feel incredibly lucky today...with the beautiful weather being on a day when I can go out in it and with my owl sightings today. Little, barn and short eared in that order. 

My barn owl sightings were one of those very special moments..or half hours in this case. It hunted pretty much in front of me as I stood on the path. At times it came so close that my hands started to shake!

Then shorties....luck at the end of the afternoon in the golden light. One happily sat on a post right by the road. I was in my car, cars were passing it and it stayed put. Very special :)
