Rockstone to Langstone

I went to Dawlish this morning and took a path that I saw on google maps. It didn't lead me anywhere I hadn't been before but it's a very useful route to Langstone rock. The tide had just turned but there was enough strand to let me walk along once I'd got down some steps from the sea wall.

The waves were lapping fairly gently, mostly but the occasional stronger one came in and, yes, I did get wet feet. 

The weather has been beautiful today. It was cold but down here, sheltered from the wind, it was lovely and warm.

Big band rehearsal tonight so I need to get my skates on.
