Shoreline

After the recent gale a wander on the beach was too good to miss.
I've tried to fit this into the theme for Mono Monday which is ORIGIN.
Origin(ally) this poor old tree was well behind the sand dunes, thousands had been planted about 100 years ago to stop the sand blowing onto farmland. Over the past 50 years erosion has taken place and trees are now under threat from the sea.
