Mercury

Another blue sky day so managed to get a couple of sculpture pictures in the City while I was there for something else.

This is Mercury on the Italian Centre.  Probably there diue to the fact that he is the God of Shopkeepers. At the front there is also a small tortoise possibly referring to the emblem of Cosimo De Medici and its motto which translates as "make haste slowly".
