Cutting the ribbon

Some members of our local walking group and many dogs with their owners in tow were waiting at 10.00am this morning to watch the cutting of the ribbon meaning our local path along the river had reopened at last. The culvert from the cricket field had flooded in October so it has had to be rebuilt. The engineers haven’t quite finished but the local Council was keen to have the path reopened as it is very popular. I was the first person walking along the reopened path and it looked so,ended in the morning sunshine.
Later, I went to have my first routine hearing appointment. As I have tinnitus in one ear, the audiologist was not prepared to do the test until I had been referred to ENT by my doctor for investigation to rule out anything sinister lurking in the area.
