This blipper is very far away
For some reason this shot (of this blipper at the top of Tantallon Castle) reminds me of that Father Ted sketch [for non-watchers this is the hilarious and unlikely life and times of 3 priests on a small island in Ireland]. Father Ted [middle aged, wise, alleged fraudster] is teaching Father Dougal (young, innocent, rather stupid] about perspective:
"This cow is very small " (pointing at small toy cow in hand) "but that cow is far far away" (pointing out of the window at a cow far away in the field).
Felt I had to share that with you.
We've been having a lovely visit from the above mentioned blipper and this one too, along with their delightful daughter who has been reminding me of all sorts of things I'd forgotten (how to work a stairgate, children light enough to be picked up and carried around). Despite the rubbish weather, we headed out to Tantallon and then on to Seacliffs to tire the kids out before lunch.
Lazy day aside from that, and a fun and illuminating evening playing a Mr & Mrs game. Obviously we were good hosts and 'let' them win....
Here's what you could have won:
