gingerbread house

A late morning start after last night and after some serious dozing (on both sides, junior and me) we went to the folks' place for a swim.
Galahs and magpies loitering in the paperbark tree and once well saturated we had afternoon tea including junior's gingerbread house (for display only) and a variety of gingerbread angels and people.

Built, from scratch no less, at our neighbours' the other evening , it is well and truly cemented now with icing and decorated with lollies.
As you can see he is pretty chuffed.
