Teasing is hardwired in her DNA
My wife and I watched over Grace, age 5 and Emily, age 2 this weekend. The grandkids call me Papa Tee, but sometimes they call me “Poppy” to tease me. I always correct them.
We were sitting at the breakfast table discussing an article about 50-rules of social etiquette everyone should follow. One of them was, "Ask Permission to Use Someone's First Name". Yes, it’s a super-casual society, but it’s never wrong to use a title until you know what the person prefers.
We gave the girl’s a couple examples. Then Emily said to me, “Mr. Zimmerman, can I call you ‘Baby Poppy?"
