A foggy day

Kind of a grungy foggy day….I needed a sort of catch up day with a long list of little nuisances.      Mostly, not all, done.  This female common merganser wasn’t really standing there (you guessed that didn’t you) but I liked him watching the kayaker in “her” water.   And I always like this view of the boats on Lake Union where we walked today, to the south end to see the boats in the in-the-water boat show, (but we didn’t pay to go in…  done with that :-) )


Thanks for the nice birthday wishes for Fiona...2 more days til she's 9!  I added as extra the Afternoon tea goodies as you couldn't really see it in yesterdays photo. (and the folks in the UK can compare....) HA  (it's ginger carrot soup)
