What a Difference a Day Makes

We were invited to lunch by some friends to celebrate Australia Day. I know it is a day late but they were busy yesterday. They spent some time in Australia a few years ago and loved it. We had prawns with a mango and avocado salad and hamburgers. Not done on the BBQ as in Oz as it was 3 degrees outside. I made a lemon meringue pie which we had with chocolate mousse. None of us could move afterwards.
Today's weather was so different to yesterday's - it was sunny and calm. Driving home there was a misty ground fog which i had to shoot from the car as there was no where to stop. I know I am milking the current winter landscape but it might all be gone in a day or two if it continues with +temperatures.
