Smokey 1655 hr (Sunday 27th January 2019)

Since yesterday I have solved a screen aspect ratio problem that caused everything on the Magical Mystery Tour DVD to appear maddeningly "fattenized" on the widescreen monitor in the outbuilding studio when it was shot in the old TV 4:3 format. I also recalibrated the speakers using the amp's provided YPAO microphone which has improved the balance somewhat, and earlier this evening I played Goldfrapp's Supernature album in an SACD 5.1 mix that sounded pretty good.
I also walked into town to the shops but the earlier blue skies had turned grey and drab and I took no pictures, so here is a Smokey not letting me forget that supper was due in 4 minutes 59 seconds.
