Snowdrop

It’s great how snowdrops lift your spirits. Harbingers of Spring. The ones now flowering in our garden came from Mum’s garden . We have tried unsuccessfully to grow them before so we are delighted with these ones.

I remember when I was very young I dug up a clump of snowdrops in the garden and put them in a wee red toy baking bowl I had , and gave them to Mum for Mother’s Day which is March (UK) They must have been
almost over by that time.! She put them on the bathroom window sill. Maybe that’s why!!

Took a trip to N Queensferry. Had a very brief walk because it was such a cold wind.

Chloe has had a bath in readiness for her trim tomorrow so we won’t be going anywhere muddy later!
