Promising signs

The Forsythia is beginning to get buds and hopefully will soon be a blaze of yellow.
Also noticed that there are quite a few clumps of snowdrops in the garden.

Daughter of my Goddaughter is getting married in June and brought her dress over for me to shorten.  It has a scalloped lace hem and needs 5 inches taking off.  There will be a lot of 'thinking time' to work out how to do it!
