Nigeria and Zimbabwe side by side

Too often we refer to Africa as if it was all one place like Australia. It is so many countries yet there are common themes of creativity and music that run thro' the continent. The Shona sculpture from Zimbabwe - it was actually Rhodesia then - was the first of a collection of Shona art that my husband accumulated. The wood carving was a present from my niece, Kathryn.
