Sign of the Takahe

This beautiful building had a restaurant, coffee shop and function centre prior to the earthquakes. It has recently been opened up again having had as multi million dollar restoration. Music and fund raising events take place on Sundays. It has drawn very large crowds which is great to see. The boys are somewhat dwarfed by one of the large fireplaces.
