A gull making the most of windy conditions and floating on the air currents.


Thanks to our neighbours across the Tasman sharing their summer temperatures it has been a very hot day. Officially Nelson, NZ, reached  32C, but locally in was still 35C while driving home at 5.30pm. Today’s swim was enjoyable, but rather like a tepid bath and no feeling of refreshing coolness afterwards!



Thank you for the lovely comments, stars and hearts for yesterday’s scene at the Motueka Beach. The high wispy clouds caught my attention and provided a lovey backdrop for the trailer sailer yachts.
