The Open Road

In training for the KIX Senshu International Marathon on the 17th of next month, so happy to get back to my 22 kilometers training route after a two weeks hiatus on this beautiful day. The new footpath on the road bridge across the Mukogawa has now opened. It is in the opposite side of the road so it enabled me to take this shot of the entire course I run down one side of the Mukogawa. I run the same distance back up on the opposite side and then once more on this side on the way back. I never used to be able to take a photograph of this because there would always be too many cars driving past on the road bridge.
