Burns Night
A day late? Perhaps, but it was fun and convivial nonetheless. And, spirit of the age, one of the haggises was a vegetarian version.
Each of us read a poem, either self-composed or established. I read Burns's "Such a Parcel of Rogues in a Nation" – quite a topical piece.
Best of all, we had a good time but we were away by 10:45. I won't have a hangover . . .
