Dunblane Cathedral

Christmas concert #2

The Cathedral at Dunblane is huge and absolutely beautiful.

I'm not a religious person but I am always awed by the architecture in churches and cathedrals, I had a really hard time choosing a picture but I think this one really shows you the scale of the place.

Unfortunately the scale makes it very VERY cold and I'm still not well so I'm off to bed to try and warm up!

I must add that part of the reason for my coldness was that my new band dresses in evening wear for concerts rather than the traditional shirt and blazer so I was in a sleeveless black dress. However, in the second half the player next to me (very gallantly but having to put up with the slagging for being a 'sook') took off his dinner jacket and gave it to me. It's impossible to describe how grateful I was!
