Lake Ginninderra bike ride

My wife Scarlet and my daughter Georgia doing the 7 klm ride around the lake this morning before the heat kicks in. This is Georgia's first bike ride since recovering from her fractured spine. In early July her horse reared up, throwing her off, and then overbalanced and fell on her - all 600 kilos of him. She had 3 lower spine fractures, spent 8 weeks flat on her back in hospital and then 6 weeks in a back brace. She's made a full recovery and is thrilled to be able to ride her bike again. No more horse-riding though!
