Cut Wood and reservoir, Rishton.
It is 4,000 steps from our house to the woodland and home again, so Paul and me had a pleasant stroll after some cheese on toast at lunchtime.
The daffodil bulbs beneath the Oak and Beech trees were looking thin on the ground, as they were planted a long time ago, but several clumps were showing healthy green shoots.
It was quite windy and cold, and a flock of seagulls had gathered on the ruffled water of the reservoir. Paul and me took photos of each other.
I am now watching Happy Feet and catching up on my social media, including blip. I am starting a new crocheted scarf for a local charity shop.
Have a lovely Saturday blip friends.
