Burns

Boy has it been good to have a day off! 

In the morning I cycled to the park and back for my usual jog/run session. In the afternoon I went out to pick up my dry cleaning and do a few other wee things. In the evening I made haggis - it being Burns Night. 

I tried a more cosmopolitan approach than the typical haggis, neeps (turnip) and tatties (mashed potato). I made the tatties with olive oil (Spanish), Ossau Iraty cheese (French/Basque) and garlic. 

The Blip and Extra are the before/after. 

I see our German friends have taken to Burns…

Further east, our Lithuanian friends have taken to Gaelic. 

Vilnius

Užupis is a special part of the city.
