Petals like porcelain,
soft as silk

Milk white flowers
drip from tender stems

Gems of springtime,
modest at our feet:

Had my hearing test at an audiology clinic today and am to have hearing aids for both ears at the end of next month. Should help drown the tinnitus, too, I'm told (once I get used to them).

Also picked up my new reading glasses which have light-sensitive lenses, so they should act as reading sunglasses in the summer if I want to read in the garden.
